Chetoui Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Chetoui is the second principal variety of olive in Tunisia, and our Certified Organic Chetoui extra virgin olive oil is the best we have ever come across! It is made from Chetoui olives that were picked at their peak, hand-harvest and stone-ground within hours of harvest.
FLAVOR PROFILE:
With its gorgeous golden color with notes of green running through, our Chetoui extra virgin is as beautiful to look at as it is delicious to taste. It has a fruity flavor, with green and almond flavors rounding it out. Its high phenolic compound guarantees this variety is stable against high levels of oxidation.
PAIRING SUGGESTIONS:
Our Chetoui extra virgin is a very versatile, all-purpose olive oil, and works especially well as part of a vinaigrette. Pair it with our Blackberry Balsamic vinegar and use as a dressing over baby spinach, baby kale, shredded carrots, goat cheese, roasted beets and pine nuts. With a profile more like an Italian oil, our Chetoui also works well as a dipping oil for artisan breads.
